The scene was set in picturesque Los Olivos — a romantic breeze-swept service in a vineyard, followed by cocktails, dinner, and late-into-the-night dancing at nearby Mattei’s Tavern. A palette of soft blues and cream, floral arrangements of roses and hydrangeas gathered in woven baskets, and hints of elevated western decor were all in the plan. The invitations were perfect. Their website? Not so much.

The Invitation Suite
Designed after their website was finished, the couple’s custom suite pulled elements from BTO’s designs, like a custom monogram and color palette.

Custom Monogram
Since the website was desinged before the STDs, BTO assisted in developing the palette of physical materials, including the couple’s new monogram. The MOB even had them embroidered on linen cocktail napkins!

Location Details & Registry
To keep guests’ questions to a minimum, Holly & Mic’s website contained every detail necessary — from the best local hotels, direct registry links, dress code appropriate outfit ideas, even an up-to-date weather report!

The Ceremony & Reception
The schedule page on their website included an hourly breakdown of arrival events, shuttle schedules, and addresses so no one was left guessing what to expect or getting lost along the way.

Hey there, I’m Maud!
I accidentally became the go-to Expert
for creating above-average wedding websites as the party-planning-loving tech girlie in the friend group. In the span of a {decidedly socially busy} year, I had friends popping up left and right for advice on how to create a wedding website that didn’t totally suck. Thinking I could find something better for them as a pro web designer, I searched the whole dang world wide web and came up with… nada. Zilch.
So I built them custom sites harmonizing with their invitation suites and themes
